well.. currently i'm taking a break from posting the penang trip :) woops
wong and AG told me last nite they heading down to penang again.. hmm
should consider it :P

Got lost to zoey's place. BUt not only me, even Chrismy got lost too! and we ended up at the same place. hiak hiak some evergreen condo :)

Anyway, Zoey is leaving on sunday, so everyone got thrown into the pool.. hey, there's no connection rite - i mean she's leaving and all of us were in the pool.. erm nevermind .. at least we got to throw her into the pool..yeah dat sounds more like it.

Slept reall late last nite, cuz we continued our chit chatting at Steven's corner, I did a sin of making so late at nite - I always do anyway, so what's da fuss!@.. had this new recipe from Lurker@Kien Huo - Cheese Naan with Susu Pekat. Yummmmmmmm!!! *addicted*

anyway i jus woke up, haven't makan anything yet.. so off i go.. tata

Date: Last Weekend, started the journey UNINTENTIONALLY, during midnite (packing), left KL at 4 am!! Can u believe it? Anyway we stopped by petrol station, 7 eleven to get MAPS so that we don't get lost watsoever. . Sounds pathetic hah! Filled up petrol, air, and our STOMACHS at nearest mamak at that point of time.


After everything is prepared, we headed to Penang - PLUS highway.. First "beep" at Smart Tag lane, and off we go!!! :). The journey wasn't that bad, since the whole road was like so straight .. ALL DA WAY - unlike to KB (what do u expect, yo're paying for PLUS highway), and me deejayin (shuffling songs, and skipping songs to the songs i like) but barely halfway thru, the chocolate and 100 plus failed to keep me awake.. ZZZZZzzzzzz (0_0).


The next thing i know, we were already approaching Penang Bridge! Yahoo... We wanted to take ferry, but we couldnt find the way and ended up on the bridge. Came all the way from KL to Penang, hoping to escape the jam YET we were stucked on bridge. Oh my..



Unsure of where our first destination would be, rang Cynthia up!

Me: HI thia, i'm in Penang (Surprise!!!)
Cynthia: Ho..... (Back to sleep) Dang!!!!

NOW WHAT ???!!!
Great.
We're in Penang.
Great.
We Got nowhere to go!!!

Nevermind, go round round first lo.. Stopped at few places, and lastly we were so tired, luckily we saw KOMTAR, straight away masuk parking and go to Prangin Mall. Sat there for ages since we were so early and that shops are not yet opened.


*Counting how many escalators they had since i got nothing to do...

I havent been to Penang since " I GREW UP ", so i was practically lost.

Still waiting for Cynthia Cheok..
And waiting
And waiting....

Finally she said she coming to meet up! Yahoo.. And after that four of us got into her SAVVY to Snake Temple.

But as we reached there kinda late, it was already closed. We went back to USM

Our next destination was Batu Feringgi - cuz some coconut head said he wana see the SHIP. as in THE SHIP restaurant but a different concept (unlike those tipu-tipu kononnya the tip of the ship which bulges out a little found in KL). Off we go! Worse part is , this Cynthia and Kaiyi does not really travel, so me drove to Batu Feringgi like as though im the tourist guide. Ish.



Behind us is the ANTENNA .. damn good reception we have!
p/s: our Photographer tipu us said can take our pic with the ship as the background ...

After 30 minutes we reached, hehe we got lost here and there of cuz, keep on getting back to the same road 3 or 4 times. So happy to see the ship, but then we were kinda dissapointed cuz the ship's not in the water!! LOL. anyway we still went in to makan cuz we were f*&ing hungry, only had the nasi kandar lunch time - which took us around 1 hour of driving to reach despite we were from the next lorong. It was like so near but becuz it was one way and we missed the road we had to go round and round and round to find the place. Stupid.. shud have just walked across the road.!! Damn pathetic ah..
During the one hour of drive, we took pic again !


I guess you cant blame us rite since we were so bored ... and Hungry!!!

I didn't know who to call when i was in Penang. Shud have called that NianYang - kau sai neva tell me he was in Penang until i come back. And also to BABYk lala kuai.Both oso informed me that they're in Penang after i reach KL. Wanted to call KennyMoe but i didnt had his phone number wit me hheehe gila.. all sudden plan so i prepared nothing!

Anyway, we went to Jalan Penang to YUM CHA! eheehe it was more like bangsar look alike, where pubs and clubs are all along the stretch.

The only difference was : their live bands plays all Chinese songs, and the crowds were actually dancing to the song! omigawd.

whoa... lOOK WHat i found..

We ended up at SOHO, thank god they played English songs, although most of the songs were practically OLDIES.. I have been hearing ICE ICE BABY by vanilla sky for almost 5 times. 3 times in KL, once in Bojangles, and twice in SODA (Hartamas) with ahHong, ahHao and in Penang. All in a week. SienzzzzZZ. Boring Sial.

Looking at this picture reminds me of the olden days. During my "Younger times".

Real scene i saw : Cynthia (my sis) biting Michelle!!

at that time, we were really young as in Cynthia and Michelle were both around 4-5 yrs ol'
Poor Michelle, i don't really recall what happen but obviously they were fighting ovr some toy and the next thing i knoe - i caught a glimpse of thia biting Michelle - scooping just exactly like shown in the picture . omiigawd!!

She bit her till Chelle's lips turn purple after dat. At dat point of time, i dont think anyone could scream still (having their lips bit), so i guess that CHelle was struggling for at least few minutes till someone discovered. *while me watching the action silently LOL - but frankly speaking i didnt know what i did to save her,i might be the one who reported the incident, or just shut up and look, Or... i myself don't know..

but they both remain friends til now :)
